2012 Art Class Calendar
Parents Night Out / Friday Evening Workshops:
- Feb 3rd: "Roses are red, violets are blue, look at the abstracts
I made for you!"
- March 23rd: "Illustration" Redrawing classics and Illustrating
own poems
- April 20th: "Planes, Trains, & Autos" drawing machines,
Using tech design, making a mobile
- Sept 14th: "Junk Art" re-purpose, re-recreatin, and re-imagining
- Oct 26th: "City Scapes" drawing perspective, making a
3D halloween house
- Nov 16th: "Currier & Ives" capturing time in scenes,
gingerbread houses
- Dec (TBA) "Snow" resist and lift techniques with watercolor,
making a kaleidescope
Fee: $25 per child per session. Snacks provided.
To register ; please email delphine@delphinepeller.com and give
Name/Age of student and contact information. Recommended age for classes
is 2nd to 6th grade . Instruction is given on an individual basis.
Registration deadline will be one week prior to desired session.
Special Family Art Class - Parents and Children
create together:

Saturday June 9th: Moms, Dads, Sons, Daughters - come be inspired
by the master works of Mary Cassett and Norman Rockwell and leave
with a painting and a great memory.
Summer Camps:

July 9-13 and Aug 6-10; 9am to 1pm. Art camp allows the student to work
on projects
in-depth by learning the process and materials while merging technique
and
expression into one art piece. Lunch provided. Instruction given on an
individual basis, recommended age for classes is 2nd to 6th grade. On
the last day of camp, students will curate their own gallery and display
their work.
Fee: $150 per week. To register, email student information and mail $75
(non-refundable) deposit
Registration deadline for the July camp is June 22nd. Deadline for the
August camp is July 20th.
Open Studio:
- Starting in March 2012! Sunday afternoons 2pm to 5pm will be an open
studio environment for young artists to come in and spend an hour or two
to doodle, draw, paint, built, or sculpt. These sessions will not have
a structured curriculum, but I will be there to offer direction and help
with technique and skills. This studio time will also be available for
birthday parties or private lessons. Please check website weekly for availability.
Fee for open studio: Drop- in $10/ hour.
Pre-pay 10 hours or more = $8/hour Recommended age: 1st grade - 9th grade
Fee for Parties : on request. Private lessons: $30/hour
